Gordon R Boyd, OD

Dr Boyd is a native of Seymour, Indiana, where he graduated from high school. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in biology and taught high school sciences briefly. During that time he completed his masters degree in Secondary Science Education. He later attended the Indiana University School of Optometry, where he graduated in 1983. During that time he completed clinical externships at the Indianapolis Eye Care Center as well as the Indiana University Contact Lens Research Clinic. He also served as an associate instructor in Ophthalmic Optics, training other optometry students.

After graduating, he purchased an optometry practice in Crawfordsville Indiana and moved there with his wife and family. They have lived there continuously since that time, providing eye care services for the residents of Montgomery and surrounding counties.

His memberships within the profession of optometry include the Tecumseh Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association.

Outside of eye care, Dr. Boyd and his wife Peggy enjoy outdoor as well as spectator sports and spending lots of quality time with their children and grandchildren.
