About
Dr. Sara Moriarty (née Eveler) joined Evans & Taylor Eye Care Group in 2023 as an Optometrist, and has a background as an optometric technician. She graduated in 2023 from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Moriarty grew up in Granger, Indiana and graduated from Valparaiso University in 2019. While at Valpo, she studied German and Chemistry, and spent a year abroad in Tübingen, Germany at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität. During her time at Valpo, she was inducted as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and Delta Phi Alpha academic honor societies.
At the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Moriarty enjoyed being a member of the American Optometric Student Association, Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and the Spectacle Music Community. Her passions within optometry include medical optometry, laser procedures, and pediatric care.
She enjoys spending free time relaxing with her husband, Noah (a PhD student at Purdue) and her cat, Remy.
